The 6BC Botanical Garden is a community green space designed, planted and maintained by local volunteers in association with GreenThumb, a program of the City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation.

The garden is open to the public year-round whenever the gate is open and during scheduled hours May-Oct.

Our garden is very photogenic-- it's been the scene of many film, tv, and photo sessions.

And journalists from around the world have made it the subject of their news stories and documentaries.

If you would like to use this lovely setting for your production

with full details of your requirements.

Our fee for non-news photoshoots varies according to the scale and nature of your production.

All shoots, large or small, must be approved in advance and a garden representative must be present.

We will do our best to accomodate your needs, but because our plants and structures are delicate, we may limit the amount of equipment and personnel that you can use, and we may also require liability insurance.

Please plan well in advance; we have no staff and our volunteers are not always available on short notice.
