There are many ways you can contribute your time and skills to the garden-- you don't need to know anything about gardening (though if you do --or would like to learn-- we're happy to have you pitch in.)

All the work needed to keep the garden open and beautiful--planning, planting, maintenance and administration--is done by volunteers.

Volunteers are often needed to

as well as to dig, plant, weed and do other garden chores.

You don't need to be a member to volunteer; all you need is a few hours to contribute. Volunteering is a great way to meet your neighbors, get some exercise, and keep your neighborhood green.

To find out how and when you can help, check the 6BC Garden News (at left) for the next scheduled Work Day, join our 6BC Members Google Group (yes, it's open to non-members, just mention your interest in volunteering when you apply for the group. ) or talk with a member you see working in the garden.

We also need help with "indoors" tasks including:

If you would like to contribute your skills in these areas, please contact us.

If you can, please also consider making a financial contribution to support the garden.

Thanks!
